I’ve been developing and executing digital marketing strategies since January 2000.

I’m excited by the dynamic nature of digital marketing. The industry is constantly changing, which keeps me intellectually engaged and challenges me to learn and adapt continuously. I also find it incredibly rewarding to see the direct impact of my work, from making a small change today to seeing its influence on results over the short and long term.

When I was 16, I failed a year of school. This experience taught me that mistakes can lead to incredible learning and opportunities, and I’ve carried this lesson with me throughout my career. I now believe that adapting to setbacks and using them for growth is key to success.

Paid Media Director

I’ve been in digital marketing since 2012, with most of my experience on the paid media side — paid search, paid social, display, video, and more — working across all the top channels and platforms. I recently took a short time away to have two daughters and am excited to dive back into the marketing world!

I love how a very small change can make a very large impact in marketing. You don’t always have to completely restructure your strategy to get different results. The ever-changing technology is also an exciting part of marketing these days.

I’m actually a pretty good baker — cakes and cookies are my specialty. However, a good baker does not necessarily mean a good cook.

I once tracked jaguars in the Amazon and worked with sharks on the South African coast, but now I hunt leads instead (equally thrilling, slightly fewer teeth). That mix of adaptability, curiosity, and adventure is what I bring into my work at Pico.

I’ve founded and built successful businesses on three continents, which has given me a deep well of marketing and entrepreneurial experience. What excites me most about marketing is the constant evolution of the industry and the challenge of staying ahead as it unfolds.

Outside of work, my greatest joy is watching my family grow. I love outdoor life, music, humor, and of course, my dogs. I’m also an avid traveler—recently crossing Bermuda and Namibia off my bucket list—and now I’ve set my sights on Botswana’s Okavango Delta. The only catch is that the bucket just keeps getting bigger the older I get. Hopefully, Starship comes with a wheelchair ramp!

I’m endlessly curious and hands-on, from 3D-printing a robot spider at home to debugging complex SEO issues for clients. I think that mix of creativity, problem-solving, and persistence makes me Picofied.

I’m a Social Media Specialist who builds strategies and content that connect on a human level, bringing brands to life, sparking real conversations, and keeping a finger on what people really care about in a rapidly changing online world.

My favourite thing about marketing is the human connection behind it all. How do we keep connections alive through a digital landscape? That’s what I live to discover.

I’m a social chameleon, adapting and changing whenever I need, but my lust for life is always in full color. I can stroll through a market or walk with wild lions, all in one afternoon (seriously — I have!).

I have over 7 years of marketing experience, from junior content writer and copywriter to digital marketing manager. I was also interim head of marketing for 6 months. I have reached the pinnacle of my career and found my passion for paid media and content writing, especially in the age of AI.

What excites me most about marketing is understanding user behavior on the World Wide Web and targeting users to offer them what they are looking for at the right time. I love seeing how our channels and strategies drive real results.
